Back when I was a bit of a mess after my late husband’s death, I was going to a Friday night painting party that was donation run. This piece was one of the first paintings I started creating on a regular basis. As soon as I had put it out there for somebody to see, a bidding war began and a man in Florida now possesses this piece of work and is part of his private collection.

I love satyrs and everything they represent. They are very important to me symbolically, energetically and magically. I now see this piece as part of my rebirth from a dark time that took many years to process. I’m grateful.
